About Monte De Los Olivos

Go Back

Our Story

Ministerio Monte de los Olivos was founded on January 8, 2008, in the garage of Pastors José and Annette Amador, with a small group of people studying "The Purpose Driven Life." From these humble beginnings, the ministry grew significantly, moving to a larger space in June 2008 and organizing various ministries dedicated to women, men, youth, and children. In 2010, after two years of growth and blessings, they acquired their own building, which remains their home to this day.

Over the past 16 years, Ministerio Monte de los Olivos has been deeply committed to its community through initiatives such as the Mustard Seed House Ministry, dedicated to helping those in need. Their outreach expanded internationally in November 2023 with a missionary trip to the Dominican Republic, where they provided clothing, food, and essential items to local churches.

We Keep Growing

In 2022, we expanded our reach by opening our first daughter church in Raeford, North Carolina, led by Pastors Efraín and Noemí Arroyo. Currently, we are working to establish an accredited Bible Institute, and in the future, we plan to open a bilingual school that also serves individuals with special needs.

We trust that God will continue perfecting the work He began in us, guiding us to fully fulfill the purpose for which we were called.

Mission

Our mission is to free souls from the enemy by sharing the immense love of God. With a message of love and mercy, we seek to rescue and guide people from darkness to light. Inspired by the Holy Spirit and the Word of God, we offer encouragement and hope, fulfilling the work that Jesus Christ entrusted to us.

Vision

To be a faith community in Jesus Christ, inclusive and free of prejudice, where everyone is welcome and valued. We teach the Word of God with love and accessibility, fostering an environment of acceptance and spiritual growth for all.

Statement of Faith

WE BELIEVE in the Word of God as divinely inspired and the Church’s only, unadulterated standard. (Rev. 22:8‑10)

WE BELIEVE in the Divine Trinity—God the Father (1 Jn 5:6‑8), our Savior Jesus Christ, and God the Holy Spirit, our Comforter. (Mt 28:10)

WE BELIEVE in the baptism of the Holy Spirit and His gifts. (Mk 1:8; Acts 1:5)

WE BELIEVE that salvation is found only through Jesus Christ. (Acts 4:11‑12; 1 Tim 2:5)

WE BELIEVE that the Lord’s Supper symbolizes Christ’s sacrifice on the cross, wounded for our sins. (1 Cor 11:24‑25)

WE BELIEVE the Church of Jesus Christ is called to live in health, prosperity, authority, and lordship, enjoying the inheritance God has given for a victorious life. (Rom 8:35‑39; Col 1:9‑13; Eph 1:17‑18)

WE BELIEVE the Holy Spirit sanctifies and guides us. (Jn 12:23; Jn 16:12‑15)

WE BELIEVE marriage was instituted by God between one man and one woman. (Gen 2:24; Eph 5:31)

WE BELIEVE in the solemnity of marriage, ordained by God and affirmed by the Lord at the Wedding in Cana, mirroring the union of Christ and His Church. (Eph 5:24)

WE BELIEVE in presenting children to the Lord to invoke His blessings upon them. (Mt 19:13‑15; Lk 2:22‑24)

WE BELIEVE in two resurrections—of the righteous and the unrighteous—to reward each according to their works. (Jn 5:24; 1 Cor 15:2‑5)

WE BELIEVE in the duty of tithing and bringing offerings to the Lord, following the promise to Abraham. (Gal 3:6‑9; Heb 7:4‑9)

WE BELIEVE in Divine Healing: through the prayer of faith the Lord heals the sick. (Mk 16:18; Jas 5:15‑16)

WE BELIEVE in worshiping God with full reverence. (Jn 4:22‑24; Rom 14:11)

WE BELIEVE in communion with God through prayer, mediated by our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Tim 2:5; Jn 14:13‑14)

WE BELIEVE in fasting and vigils as means of consecration. (Acts 13:2; Lk 6:12)

WE BELIEVE in God‑given prophecy in harmony with His Word, rejecting all fanaticism and anything contrary to sound doctrine. (1 Jn 4:1; 1 Tim 4:1‑2)

WE BELIEVE brothers and sisters must love one another and never accuse, for the accuser is the Devil. (Jn 17:21‑26; Rev 12:10; 1 Jn 2:9)

WE BELIEVE the Church is called to lift up, help, comfort, and forgive—not judge or mistreat—singing, praising, and worshiping with uplifted hands in gratitude. (2 Cor 5:14‑20; 1 Th 4:18; Jas 1:12‑15; Ps 28:2; Ps 150; Ps 30:4)

WE BELIEVE in the law of faith, not of works. (Rom 3:21‑25; 2 Cor 5:7; Rom 4:17)

WE BELIEVE the Spirit of Grace covers us in our weaknesses as we fight the good fight of victory. (Acts 10:29‑32; 2 Cor 12:9)

WE BELIEVE the Virgin Mary conceived by the Holy Spirit and bore Jesus, her firstborn; yet Jesus Christ alone is the Savior of souls. (1 Tim 2:5)

WE BELIEVE the cross was the literal instrument of Christ’s human execution, symbolizing Christian persecution; it must never be worshiped, for that would violate Scripture. (Mt 10:38)

WE BELIEVE God commands obedience to earthly authorities—governments and employers—except when such obedience would violate God’s commands and hinder salvation, for “whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.” (Mt 10:39)

WE BELIEVE in the free use of foods, as permitted by the grace under which we stand; we are no longer under the law. (Col 2:16‑17)
