Pastor José Amador was born on August 15, 1969, in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. He has been happily married for 30 years to his beloved wife, Annette Amador, and together they have been blessed by God with two wonderful sons, Joshua and Joseph.
In 1999, Pastor José joined the Armed Forces with the intention of serving for 20 years and then enjoying his retirement with his family. However, a back injury altered those plans, leading him to an early retirement from the Army. But as we know, God's plans are always greater, and He had a higher purpose in store for Pastor José's life.
In 2007, he received the call to pastoral ministry, which inspired him to seek a solid academic foundation. In addition to earning an Associate's Degree in Information Systems, he completed a Bachelor's Degree in Religion at Liberty University, another Bachelor's Degree in Theology at The Christian University, and a Master's Degree in Theology at The Theology International University.
Guided by the Holy Spirit and with a robust academic background, Pastor José founded Ministerio Monte de los Olivos. This ministry, which began in January 2008 as a Bible study in the garage of his home, has grown significantly under his leadership. His passion for the Word of God is immense and unwavering, and his greatest desire is for everyone who comes to Monte de los Olivos to be edified and experience a genuine encounter with God.
Pastor José Amador is dedicated to tirelessly serving the Lord and guiding others on their spiritual journey, with a firm commitment to expanding God's Kingdom and transforming lives through the power of Christ.
